The ITAC project convened thought leaders and groups of faculty teams representing a cross-section of disciplines from community and technical colleges. Working with their advisory committees and EDC project staff, these teams developed and validated a common language to define the IT basic (core) skills across all industry sectors. They developed and tested problem-based scenarios that integrate IT skills with their own course content and developed sample or model lessons illustrating how the IT applications are used in different fields.
